Canada & United States Coverage
FCPP covers your vehicle anywhere in Canada and the Continental United States
Direct Response
When your vehicle is covered with a First Canadian Protection Plan, you won't have to wait around to get your needs met. FCPP will handle your claim quickly and efficiently. The cost of authorized services and repairs will be paid directly to the repair facility, saving you from the inconvenience of waiting for reimbursement and any out-of-pocket expenses.
Transferable Coverage
If you ever choose to sell your vehicle, your FCPP coverage is fully transferable to the new owner for the remainder of the coverage term. However, if the vehicle passes through any entity other than the subsequent buyer or is sold/traded into a dealership, leasing agency, or entity in the business of selling vehicles, FCPP coverage cannot be transferred.
Optional Coverage Available on Qualifying Plans
If you selected and paid for the Guarantee Price Rebate (GPR) Option Fee on an eligible plan, or selected a plan with Experience Based Refund (EBR), you can apply for a cash rebate claim as soon as the plan Total Policy/Contract has expired by time. Rebates are based on the amount you originally paid for the Policy/Contract, up to maximum claim amount of $2,000. Criteria for the GPR/EBR Claim include:
- Original plan holder must still be the registered owner of the vehicle.
- No mechanical or other benefits claims were made during the entire term.
- GPR/EBR Claim must be received in the allotted time frame.
- Deductible applies to maximum claim amount

Rental
If you ever experience a breakdown covered by your FCPP protection plan, any receipted expenses to rent a vehicle, pay for a taxi or public transportation will be fully reimbursed or paid for. *
Trip Interruption
If you ever experience a breakdown while you're more than 160 kilometers from your home, and a repair facility needs to keep your vehicle overnight, all receipted motel and restaurant expenses will be reimbursed or paid for.
Towing
If you ever experience a covered breakdown that requires on-site assistance, 24 hour Emergency Service will be provided. This includes Towing, Tire, Battery, Locksmith Service, Delivery and Mechanical First Aid.

Vehicle Return Plus- Protection for Vehicle Financing
Complimentary 12-month coverage
We understand that there may be times in our customers' lives that will make it nearly impossible to continue making payments on a car loan or lease, and we don't want our customers to ever feel burdened.
That's why we offer Vehicle Return Plus, which lets you completely walk away from your vehicle payments or return your vehicle under several life changing circumstances. With Vehicle Return Plus, you'll be able to cancel up to $20,000 or payments and negative equity for up to 84 months, depending on the coverage you select.
Typically, vehicles are financed over 5-7 year terms, for which a majority of that time, the balance of the loan will be greater than the actual value of the vehicle. This is known as "negative equity" and has the potential to leave you financially exposed in the event of any unforeseen changes in your life that would leave you unable to continue making payments.
